A Scoping Review and Expert Interviews to Identify Best Practices to Recruit, Train, and Retain the Behavioral Health Workforce
Project Description
Supervision is a critical and necessary feature for moving behavioral health clinicians into independent practice. However, understanding the degree to which supervision is effective and what components comprise quality supervision are not well understood. This study will conduct a scoping review and expert interviews to describe key features and evidence for supervision in training and for retaining the future, graduate-level behavioral health workforce.
