Family-Responsive Behavioral Health Practice: A Mixed-Method National Study of Workforce Preparation, Practitioner Competencies, and Training Needs
Project Description
This mixed-methods study will review curricula from a national sample of social work and clinical mental health counseling graduate programs, along with accreditation and licensing standards, and interview program directors to assess how well the workforce is prepared for family-responsive practice. Findings will identify training gaps across the pipeline, from graduate preparation through licensure, to guide reforms by accreditation bodies and policymakers.
