Understanding the School-based Behavioral Health Workforce

Published: 2023-09-01
Updated: 2023-09-15

Project Description

School-based behavioral health (SBBH) has been proposed as a strategy to address the inadequate supply of youth mental health services; however, little is known about the characteristics and workforce of statewide SBBH programs and variations across the U.S. This study will survey school administrators across the 10 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regions to describe the workforce providing behavioral health care in schools.
